Portland Oregon SEO Training Academy

Over the last two weeks I had the opportunity to attend an SEO Training Class in Portland Oregon called the Ultimate SEO Mastery Workshop. This is through the Search Engine Academy of Oregon and I have to tell you, I walked out of that class with tools, strategies and tactics that will take my websites to the next level.

Colleen Wright, trainer for Search Engine Academy of Oregon and owner of a Portland Oregon based Internet Marketing firm, Response Interactive LLC did a great job pacing the class and allowing time for lot’s of Q&A. Some of the topics I especially liked were on Latent Semantic Indexing, personalization of search and link building.

Latent Semantic Indexing is a way to increase relevance of a page with the search engines by incorporating keywords related to the main keyword phrase of the page. While personalization is all about how the search engines are striving to offer up more and more relevant content to the searcher and how that impacts search engine rankings. And link building? I walked away with a variety of strategies and tactics that will be employed on websites I manage.

Even as a SEO Professional currently working in the Search Engine Optimization industry it was a very enlightening 5 days packed with a great deal of useful information. I walked away from this SEO Training Class knowing the money was well spent.

I would recommend this class to anyone who wanted to expand their knowledge needed to be successful marketing on the Internet.
